Local Halp, Seattle/Tacoma, October 8th thru the 11th
Local Halp, Seattle/Tacoma, October 8th thru the 11th

My landlord's best friend, Miss Mary, had to fly home a couple years ago and deal with the estate of her departed aunt - Mary is in her 70s, and has been struggling to get this house (think 'Hoarders' on A&E) into shape to be sold. She's got it mostly whipped, but we're down to the wire.
I'm going to be down the 8th thru the 11th, and I would love to have anyone who can toss boxes or haul boxes to Mary's house, about 15 minutes away. I'll be renting a U-haul, but more chassis and more hands are always helpful.
I can't promise any recompensation, but I will do my damndest to see that anyone that can help will get their gas tank filled, and I can guarantee that we will get fed to the tune of Southern Fried Artery Lubricant.

Is this a request for help, or an offer of one?

If it is a request, what type of help is needed?

This being just over a week away... do you still need help?  If so, I can provide one (1) strong back and four (4) strong hands, in the form of two (2) geeks from Spokane, on that Saturday.  Gas tank fillage would be appreciated but is not required; caffeine, on the other hand...
We can't stay for the whole weekend -- work calls as of Sunday -- but we can pitch in for one day at least.

Dunno at this point, plans may be changing.  I'll be there, I may need a pickup (and subsequent dropoff) at the bus station.  Will let you know via PM/email/whatever.
