Crisis at TV Tropes

In case you don't know already, TVTropes is scrambling like a kicked-over anthill.  If you're interested in why, check out http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/A ... eSituation]this page.

..... What!? Google is pulling their adservice because someone bitched about TV Tropes having adult content!? WTF!?

Glad that they're looking at other adservices right now. Maybe I should bitch to google about all the cheap porn sites I see in their ads.

Unfortunately, while I can understand the desire to stick with a single ad provider, if only because it lessens the annoyance factor considerably... this is why one should try hard to not be dependent on reduced sources of revenue when they're running a business, even one that's not set up to be little more than 'self sufficient'.

Between this, and what happened to Retro Thing last month regarding eBay, it's becoming a little evident more than a few websites have fallen into this trap.
