Thundercats Are Loose
Thundercats Are Loose

If someone had told me, say ten years ago, that in ten years' time the best new animated show on American television would be a remake of Thundercats... I'd have laughed in his face.
And yet, here we are.
Weird.

"These were days of peace and prosperity on Third Earth: when one empire stood above all others, ruling with a just heart and razor claw.  And though omens foretold in the Book would be ignored, the tragedy to come was necessary.  For it was written that he would be born of fire, a king to lead his people to victory... against ancient spirits of evil."

Weird how crappy 80s properties are turning up as awesome 2010s stuff...

First My Little Pony, now ThunderCats. Heh.

I would throw Transformers: Prime and the new G.I.Joe cartoon in there... but they never really went away, did they? Tongue

The G.I.Joe Renegades cartoon comes off as a A-Team/G.I.Joe prequel mash-up... It's definitely interesting to watch.

The Thundercats show is a sequel, kinda picking up where the original left off... kinda...
