1. Go down with the flu.
2. Get over the flue faster than you thought.  Go on a long road trip.
3. Avoid smashing into the back of a vehicle in the merge lane when he decided to stop suddenly....only to find out what a pinball feels like when another vehicle crashes into you and you crash into the vehicle  in front of you.
4. All 3 vehicles will probably have to be written off.
I should had just stayed in bed.

Ouch. I hope you're okay.

(And Wiredgeek started a Car Thread not too long ago, on the off-chance you need some ideas for a new ride...)

Well all the body parts are intact, but I did get a case of whiplash. When your vision gets blurry and you realize you lost your glasses. And then finally found them and the baseball cap you are wearing at the back of the car. Must have been one hell of a whipping effect for the cap and glasses to fly back.

Gah... That really bites, man. Hope you mend just fine and I hope you get a good car to replace the smashed one.

Good luck and I hope it all gets sorted out soon. When I got rear ended and shunted it took almost a year for the insurance to be dealt with because the rear ender tried to weasel his way out. I hope your bad drivers are better people.

glad to hear you came out of it ok, and here is hoping that things stay on the up & up (or at least avoid a general downward direction).

Well, got a lawyer to handle this and went to the chiropractor. I didn't realize how much pain I was in until she started the treatments. Still not up to standing (or sitting) for long periods but hopefully the continuing sessions should do the trick.

They should. Chiropractic treatment isn't a quick thing. Mine took six weeks before I was pain-free. But if you're on it, then you can only improve.

Well, I managed to keep standing for 4 hours in line for in line in the Birmingham County courthouse for a new license plate...without having to resort to ibuprofen or muscle relaxants to ease the pain. The pain was still there, but it was tolerable. At least today was a chiropractor day.

Well, I decided to get a veteran's license plate. I also found I can walk normal now! The doc still freaks me out when she pops my neck back into position. The sound of cracking bones made me think the first time she broke my neck!

Black cat darted across my path on my way out to get some cash at the ATM...would had gotten T-boned (I just got this car!) by a red sedan going at about 55 in a 35 mph zone..If I had not seen him coming at the corner of my eye. Same black cat darted across me when I came back. That's it. I'm, staying home until Monday! I know a waring when I see it!
