It's been ongoing for 5 years now. The closest American director to do something like this would be Apocalypse Now..a mere 238 days. Francis Ford Coppola was a tyro compared to this director.

Eventually it turns out he's not making a movie at all, he just came up with a rather creative method of becoming a dictator. 8P
