The Toronto International Film Festival is showing a fifteen-film retrospective of Studio Ghibli's work entitled "Spirited Away:  The Films of Studio Ghibli".
Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind
Castle in the Sky
Only Yesterday
Ponyo
My Neighbor Totoro
Princess Mononoke
Whisper of the Heart
Porco Rosso
Kiki's Delivery Service
The Cat Returns
The Ocean Waves
My Neighbor the Yamadas
Pom Poko
Spirited Away
Howl's Moving Castle
With a 3 1/2 to 4 hour trip, plus border crossings, there is no way I can make it.

I can handle a 4.5-hour trip each way for a good film... but can I get away to make the trip?

Hmmmmm... I saw Nausicaä at the Ottawa International Animation Festival a few years ago, so I don't need to see that on the big screen again.

I've never seen Pom Poko...

... Man, I wish I had a job right now. At least then I might have the money for the trip.
