Sadly, the copy I came across does not support "old-style" embed code, so I can only provide link to it.

Oh man, I really hope You and Dummy are safe in the basement (Dummy's looking for the fire extinguisher.) Interesting how seeing Stark Mansion get hit like that does create a bit of an emotional response from me. That place has had a lot happen there over the last two movies.

Nice.
But why does Tony have a giant stuffed bunny in his living room?  If it is the furry armour, I am so out of here.

It's important to note that the fundamental Iron Man story arc starts with being Tony Stark is awesome and ends with being Iron Man is bad ass. The middle is where most of the trailer is from I figure.

I like the Norman Osborn paintjob on War Machine there.

Points I note and like:

- Tony's brush with death in New York has had some serious consequences. Apparently even Mr. Stark doesn't just casually brush off nearly sacrificing himself for everyone.
- Tony's blase about his personal safety, but very serious about Pepper's. I wonder if we'll see her "Rescue" suit from later comics in the movies eventually.
- The Iron Patriot armor almost doesn't look silly... until I get to the star painted around the arc reactor. Thankfully, in motion, you're more focused on all the other details, so it should look appropriately badass.
- "Some call me a terrorist. I consider myself a teacher. Lesson one." I really like what they're apparently going for with the Mandarin here. Hopefully his magic rings aren't too bizarrely out of place given the hard science feel Iron Man tends to have. Asgardian artifacts, maybe?

[knowing nothing about the comics mythology] it seems like a fair amount of 'asgardian' artifacts were originally from other civilizations.
It was the frost giants power source in thor that was the maguffin.
So I can see other Magi-Tech artifacts being used for the rings.

Ben Kingsley really has embraced his destiny to play scene-chewing bad guys.

Very true. He is only surpassed by heralds of Galactus and other cosmically powered entities. And Doom. Because he is Doom, and Doom eats whatever he pleases, AS LONG AS HE CAN HAVE HIS REVENGE ON RICHARDS!!! *milks giant invisible cow*

What a great way of referring to Kirby's standard dynamic Doom pose.

I got it from Heroics for Beginners by John Moore, where the genre-savvy villain refrains from milking the giant invisible cow, because he knows that if he does it too soon, it is bound to cause his plans to fail. I asked Mr. Moore about the term at a convention, and he said that he got it from one of his drama coaches in college.
