The art alone is bringing tears to my eyes.  The dedication on page one just pushes me over the edge.
EDIT: Okay, more detail now that I just shotgunned the thing.
Each chapter is a seamless bottom-to-top scrolling graphic novella.  They are published on an annual-to-semi-annual basis, and is translated into multiple languages.
And just... ZOMG!  THE ART!  THE STORY!  This sucker is going to be nothing short of epic.  I just wish that it didn't take so long in the making... but I can think of worse update schedules.
Seriously, if you love that kind of epic tale that can only come from a Calvin and Hobbes plot for a Sunday strip, then you will adore this.

edit:  BTW, keep an eye out for little jokes.  Jonas' school in the first chapter?  Named for the author of The Neverending Story.

Worthy of note: as quickly as he's hitting these mile stones for Chapter 5 (as noted in his blog-feed), I'd expect the next chapter to be out in a couple more months. Honestly, not all that slow of a pace.
EDIT: Sorry for the minor threadcromancy, but I thought you guys would like to know that my forecast was off... but in our favor.  Word of God is that Chapter 5 will go up on the site on March 31st, 10:00pm German time.
