3D Printers?
3D Printers?
#1
So I've been debating putting my meager 3d design skills to use and getting myself a printer.
Looking for recommendations on models and any experience anyone may have had with them.
I'm especially looking for one to make small detailed objects like miniatures with.

I can't offer any suggestions myself.

Have you checked your local library? At least in Ontario, libraries are starting to offer "makerspace" areas with various different 3D printers - if that's the case where you live, you could try out a few different ones and see which you like best.

So, pretty much settled on the Printrbot after looking at various online reviews and such.

In the meantime been working on learning Sketchup.
