Quick Manga question
Quick Manga question
#1
Back in the dark mists of time, when Dark Horse publishing started releasing their translation of the Ah! Megami-Sama! manga, they excised a large number of chapters that they thought would not be interesting to American readers. They ended up releasing them in their "Super Manga Blast" house magazine. Later on they released new versions of the early volumes with these chapters restored.
I've been considering replacing my copies of the early volumes, but I need to know at which volume they stopped excising material. Anyone know?
Thanks!

They dropped a lot of chapters in order to get Urd and Skuld into the story more quickly. I don't recall whether they dropped any after Skuld's first appearance.

I didn't even know they were cutting chapters. That's somewhat bothersome.

That was back when the were publishing one chapter per month as a North-American-style comic book and collecting them in named paperbacks. The numbered paperback collections are complete.
