NZ law could disqualify all Australians from their Parliament

This has been an interesting, and amusing, on going situation here this year, and one of the two major scandals we've had. More than a few politicians, up to and including our deputy PM, as mentioned in that article, have dual citizenship, often as a side effect of their parents country of origin, and didn't think to check on the matter before they got into politics. This mess started when a member of the 'all foreigners should go back where they came from' party fell victim to this, and once we were done laughing at his racist ass, we all had that classic 'hey wait a minute' reaction. It's been going on for a while, and it just gets more entertaining. It's currently being considered in our local courts, and I can already guess which way they'll swing on the latest NZ addition.

Hell, it's an old semi-joke that everyone's a NZ citizen anyway.
