It'll probably be turned into the standard TV-structure, 5 minutes of setup, 2 minutes of stuff, ad-break, 5 minutes recapping the previous segment, 2 minutes of stuff moving forward, ad-break..... Ten minutes entrtainment in an hour long slot type stuff.
I love the smell of rotaries in the morning. You know one time, I got to work early, before the rush hour. I walked through the empty carpark, I didn't see one bloody Prius or Golf. And that smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole carpark, smelled like.... ....speed. One day they're going to ban them. There's also the millennia prior to The Hobbit that such a series could explore — loads of stuff from The Silmarillion, The Book of Lost Tales, etc. It still doesn't strike me as a GOOD idea, but it's not as obviously a money-grubbing bad idea as the initial headline made it sound.
