Tarantino's Trek?
Tarantino's Trek?
#1
Deadline Hollywood: Quentin Tarantino Hatches ‘Star Trek’ Movie Idea; Paramount, JJ Abrams To Assemble Writers Room

I can see the dialogue now:

"Klingon, muthafucker. Do you speak it?"

The Register, reporting that this story exists, has a much better comments section. (As in, it has a readable and vaguely-entertaining comments section.)

Well, not as if he can make a worse movie than the average blockbuster movie science fiction seems stuck with for the past... oh, decade?

I don't know, this could be good

Love him or hate him; Tarantino is master of genre emulation.  To see him embrace classic Sci-Fin - specifically the forward looking, humanity gets over itself, Sci-Fi it could be a hell of romp.

Bring it.

Do you know what they call a quarter pounder with cheese in space?
