Kennedy, whom you may remember from previous hits such as:
Citizens United Wrote:"…independent expenditures do not lead to, or create the appearance of, quid pro quo corruption."
just announced his retirement.

Who knows, maybe democrats can invoke the McConnell Rule: "We have midterm elections coming up, the people should have a chance to vote on which Senators will make this decision."

But then again, that would be uncivil.
