Which, for our purposes, raises a question...

Doug only gets powers from music if he understands the lyrics. Do the lyrics need to be sung, or can they be signed? (And does Doug know any sign languages?)

Of course Doug knows sign language! Just give him a marker and some wooden planks!

Seriously... no, I never added anything like that to his skills in-game. So we'll never know if it works. But even if it does, he'd have to be staring at the "singer" continuously or the power will end... not exactly useful for combat situations.
