... no animation (in the sense of drawn pictures moving around) at all, in fact. But it's Portal related and kinda cute.

It probably would have been less creepy if a) the mouth-sync was a little better and b) if they had programmed a bit more movement.

What's interesting is the size -- if the door behind it is reasonably close, that bot is a good four or five feet tall.

I don't think you can assume that's a normal sized door (though it may be). It's not part of the wall. I think it's mainly there to hide some
of the control mechanisms for the robot.

In the background you can see where the light color carpet meets the dark lower wall (and the electrical sockets and powercords). You can see that the right
hand edge of the 'door' continues past the corner.
