Seen at Anime North

Not by me, alas - I had to work that weekend - but by a friend. I haven't seen these yet. However, I trust said friend's judgment regarding music. (I don't always agree with it, but I trust it...) All links are to animemusicvideos.org.

I've missed a good lot of the main masquerade thanks to these things running behind time, so I decide to chuck the rest of it in and go to the AMV creators and judges party instead. When I get there, all the pizza has been inhaled (s'allright, not really hungry) and only chips and diet cola are left. I grab these things, settle in, reintroduce myself to Todd Serge of Corndog Vidvids and tell him the story about the Asian loligoth girl at my music panel last year reacting to his Chobits/Masonna AMV (for those who haven't read it, the volume was louder than I expected, and she leaned forward with her hands clamped over her ears, and smiled at the same time; very memorable). He was greatly amused to hear about it. Here it is again; turn your volume down, because this is louder than hell and about as easy to listen to:

The crew have a laptop and projector to show off several odd AMVs for each others' edification, so I get out pen and paper and take down some rough titles when I'm not pitching in the occasional heckle. I ask Todd for these files, and he just takes my list, writes down the correct titles of most of the vids, adds a few more and recommends that I get them off of animemusicvideos.org. Here's a list of some of those, with links. I warn you that some of these may cause brain damage if your brain is susceptible to that sort of thing. If it's a bit late for that already, then you might as well finish the job.
