Way back when, during the early days when Fenspace was starting out, I tried to join in.
It didn't work (took too much cool) and I publically backed out.
However, I recently had an idea around Thionite (basically around how it might work) which I gave into today and started a short story about (and worked out most of the major characters).
However I'm not sure I haven't taken too much cool again, and the story turned out both slightly adult and potentially quite dark. It also seems to take the Boskonians in a fairly scary direction (it ups the potential threat level considerably).
Thus, before I consider posting it I felt it necessary to ask if you feel OK with potentially taking at least one area of Fenspace down this way.
