Most of the code has been optimised for the processor node A.C. has developed, and is both unique and non-portable. She DOES want to make some money out of this. Also, I said individual ownership. A.C. knows all the 'Good Guys' in Fenspace and will sell to them and their companies. How many single Fen have enough capital to buy a sports car?
A.C. has developed this for the Fen Olympics, and as such has given it the capabilities of working for that. Yes, A.C. and her assistant will do further development. But this shouldn't detract from their other projects too much after the initial development.
However, you haven't seen A.C. paranoid yet. The security on these will be quite spectacular.
