"What do you do?" asked a perplexed Rei.

Ben suddenly spewed forth in a total deadpan, "I race an old volkswagon sedan embued with the spirit of Asuka through the asteroid belt at completely
insane speeds and I'm the commander of the Black Aeronaut F-EZig Squadron and I'm the custodian of the Lost Boys of the SS Pegasus. Oh, and
I deliver parcels."

"!" said Rei.

"Yeah, I get that a lot," he replied with utter nonchalance.

"You think that's impressive," commented Blackstone, not looking up from his PDA, "then you should hear him yodel."

(Okay, I'll announce now: Chapter 4 will be the "write your own character into the story" chapter. I already have submissions from Cobalt/A.C. and Bob/Bob, but please wait until I actually finish Chapter 3 before submitting anything else. As for what's taking so long, I never could write decent fight scenes...

Edit: And I'm not working on Chapter 3 tonight. Since Mal's leaving a flyer at Worldcon, I'll be populating the Wiki a bit more with material dredged from older posts.)
