Went through the "Wanted Pages" list and cleared out most (not quite all) of the links-to-nowhere that have been sitting there for years, or were added by people who haven't posted here for over six months. This took a few days. (Plenty of accumulated cruft...)

In one case, I did this by creating a stub page. If people want to create pages for the other links-to-nowhere, you can put the links back easily enough...

Added some short-short descriptions to the Faction Guide and Companies in Fenspace pages.

All the companies now have short blurbs. These factions do not have capsule writeups:
  • Spacefleet
  • Heinlein Society
  • two-thirds of the Non-Governmental Organizations
If somebody else gets to these before I do, you'll have my gratitude.

Just did most but not all of this... We're down to just The Cyber Confederation and the Musician's Aid Society http://www.fenspace.net/index.php5?titl ... anizations]needing capsule descriptions. Who's going to fill in the last two blanks?

I've just stubbed a page that's been on the "Wanted Pages" list for years.

http://www.fenspace.net/index.php5?title=Type-7_shuttle

One might note that the ship's writeup is conspicuous by its absence. Somebody who actually cares about the FenTrekkies, please write something for this blank space.

Dartz got the Cybers - thank you!

And I just got the Dandelions.

One more task completed. Maybe I might have some time to write some fiction instead of filling in holes in the background data... maybe.

Posted A story. Editing encouraged, especially to some of the tags on communications. It's been modified slightly from the original all through.... for one thing the Griffon is now more of a longtail 962 than a Countach.

Which means it's a Griffon In name Only - but that just means Mackie used the name as something of a joke.

Added a character portrait to Deidre's page, picked it up this weekend at NDK.

Expanded and organized the Help page. Also trimmed a few entries off the Timeline and edited a few more to make them more general and/or noteworthy.

Because we know so little about the Senshi...

The Commander of the Sailor Armed Militia now has a character page (sort-of) and an image.

Just goofing around in Daz Studio... Babylon .5 and 18610 Arthurdent now have images.

Two down, 327 to go... If your characters don't have images or descriptions yet, they may end up looking like this guy if I get too tired of waiting for somebody else to do some of this work.

EDIT: Or maybe I'll just use this image

And now the page has some actual text. (shock! gasp!)

Make that 325 images to go (plus whatever needs an image but hasn't been tagged with "Category:Image Requested")

%[link=http://www.fenspace.net/index.php5?title=Humanitas_Excelsior]http://www.fenspace.net/index.php5?titl ... _Excelsior] (maybe an image will get somebody to write a description to go along with it...?)

%[link=http://www.fenspace.net/index.php5?title=Swordfish_Mono_Racer]http://www.fenspace.net/index.php5?titl ... Mono_Racer] (two images here - one on its own, attempting no landing, and one with a Bolitho in the shot for size comparison)

EDIT: And another two images - a new one for http://www.fenspace.net/index.php5?titl ... azamatsuri]Rinna Kazamatsuri and the first image for http://www.fenspace.net/index.php5?title=Herbert_Henry]Herbert Henry. Now there's 324 on the list... although I'm running out of station and ship models that I haven't used. Where did I put that copy of Dominion, again?

Well, here's part of the original inspiration for the catgirling machine catgirls... too bad the image is not available for our purposes...

I always used this image as a mental template for catgirls at CI:

http://ackegard.com/gallery/v/campaigns ... A.jpg.html

If you think its okay, I will ask the author about if we can put the picture on the wiki.

Doesn't mean somebody can't "fake it" - somebody put a home-made Fuchikoma image onto the wiki, after all.

(Yes, I know who that somebody is. Who else is doing artwork for anything other than his own characters nowadays?)

.... I hate to say it, but I can't really do 'Art'... I tried and the results were hilaribad.

The Image of Jet is really just a cut-and-paste from the B-Club specials of all the various Knight Sabers. (Sylia/Priss' body, Priss' Face, Linna eyes, Nene Hair, IIRC.). The only real original drawing is the Destiny Nova and Mel's patch where the original version was pencil+paper+GIMP. Everything else is just modified from something else.

Anybody with a home computer can be a 3-D artist, since both Blender and Daz Studio are available for free and there's plenty of free content for each of them out there. Much like your cut-and-paste, the art-form is a digital collage at the level I'm using it.

The trick is being a decent 3-D artist... but I can pass along tips that were passed to me, and I can wait a year or two for the help. Just don't tell your girlfriend "Someday I'll be a 3-D artist," or she may dump you...
