I am REALLY happy that our whole discussion about "hacking" is online on the mailing list, but I am curious. How do this inquiry's work at Stellvia?

I've never actually seen a hearing held, so I don't know for sure. But I'm told it's a cross between the French and Canadian systems - a judge is appointed and given a mandate, he decides whether he needs help and recruits a panel of other judges if he does, and he calls witnesses and experts, and goes over all the evidence he can gather. At the end of it, the judge produces a report that might or might not lead to criminal charges.

I might have something wrong in there, but everybody tells me that's the gist.
