Power frames Jet can do....
They'll be quirky, resist any attempt at UI development beyond 1980's text and wireframe despite having all the best modern hardware thrown at it. They'll also make the Vrrrrmmm---clunk noise. And be motion-controlled (Like the original hardsuit was supposed to be). They'll also be very, very Shinji Aramaki in style. At least, the prototype.
Risk wise, Jet isn't even thinking about them. Jet's still looking for the limits to newfound capabilities.... like child with a new toy. How fast can I react? How many G can I take? How much can I lift? How fast can I go? Jet's basically slowly discovering that he doesn't want out of the suit. Scoot across the ocean to the US? Bullet to Japan? Bother airforces.... For Jet, with great power comes great fun and fleeting thrills and real freedom. (And in a comic book story, probably negative attention from the local heroes followed by a good kicking when Jet panics and fights back.)
And steadily, Jet grows more and more isolated from humanity and the normal baseline. Jet sill believes himself to be just trapped in the suit, that it's jammed shut around a biomod or something and it's just a matter of getting it off, or figuring out how to open the original suit. While quietly ignoring mounting evidence that what's under the metal might not be human anymore.
Eventualy, Jet has to make a sudden drop-everything run to orbit.... and dissapears from Arthur's radar for some time. Then discovers the awful truth about her cyborg body from A.C.
It'd be an interesting story for sure....
It's a minor retcon..... but it's interesting.
