what are you looking for?
All of them offer a shield, a single target hold, cone damage, and a cone or aoe immobilize (which is wonderful for keeping mobs in the burning clump of destruction that your bots put out).
In addition to the above:
Mako has a single target smash. Damage over time for flavoring
Scorpion has a power boost. Knock back and -recharge for flavoring
Scirocco offers a melee smash. Endurance drain for flavoring
Ghost Widow gives you pbaoe stun. Negative energy damage for flavoring.
I ended up going Scorpion for stylistic reasons on Clank. But you can make any of them work, as they are mostly the same.
I would highly recommend getting the shield (MMs are squishy) and immobilize (keep enemies trapped in the kill zone), but that is just my preference.

The Patron ARC is permanent. The Powers? Not so much anymore.

The only real difference between patrons nowadays is that you only get one pair of Patron Arcs. That is, the Patron's "EVUL PLAN!" and the "HAHA. NO," from Recluse, which leads into the redside content capstone arc.
I'd check Paragonwiki for arc details and pick the one whose story looks fun/apropos for your character, etc.

the patron arcs give you a badge, but you can not ouro to the get the other badges. even after compleating say.... Malos arc, you can then take Mu Mastery from siccro
so you can chose what ever you want, Plus, they give you a respec when you do the arc. so if you don't like what you get, you can try something else.
