I'm asking, because I'm curious. I'm not interested in the "how", I'm asking about the "why".

I'm talking about what, in your past, convinced you about climate change/Global Warming, etc.? Was it all at once or something gradual? Was someone just really eloquent about describing what they saw as the problem? Or was it independent research on your part or, well, what?
