To waste, to destroy, our natural resources, to skin and exhaust
the land instead of using it so as to increase its usefulness, will
result in undermining in the days of our children the very
prosperity which we ought by right to hand down to them
amplified and developed.
Theodore Roosevelt, Seventh State of the Union (3 December 1907)
“We can never undo what we have done. We can never go back in time. We write history with our decisions and our actions. But we also write history with our responses to those actions. We can leave the pain and the damage in our wake, unattended, or we can do the work of acknowledging and fixing, to whatever extent possible, the harm that we have caused.”

The thing that makes me mad is the blatant pro/against ratio of the speakers.

Out of the six, only google was against the bill, even though there were plenty of other groups clamping for a spot.

E: "Did they... did they just endorse the combination of the JSDF and US Army by showing them as two lesbian lolicons moving in together and holding hands and talking about how 'intimate' they were?"
B: "Have you forgotten so soon? They're phasing out Don't Ask, Don't Tell."

United Police States of America.

Only now they can police websites across the world that they 'dont like'. This has to be shot down as unconstitutional.... there has to be something against a law like this. Or what sort of Constitution do you have?

@Cathy:  Yeah, you are probably right about this belonging in politics.
@Dartz:  Re: Constitution...Been wondering that myself lately.
Bob, I'll be moving the thread down to politics, so you can lock this one.

No problem. I was about to relocate this one anyway.
