Un-American Document
Un-American Document

Emperor knows, we've seen this sort of crap for decades before — politico Frank Hague in 1938 said no one ever heard "a real American" talk about "Communist" sort of things like freedom of speech or the press.  It's still hysterically funny that Trump supporters read "tyranny" and jumped to the conclusion the Declaration of Independence was an anti-Trump rant.  As one commenter pointed out, if you think the list of complaints against King George III are directed against your President, that suggests bad things about your President.
Quote:I am Australian and even I recognized the tweets as the declaration of independence, how dumb are Trump supporters if they as Americans didn't even recognize it. Sad!

I remember someone did this in the 60s or 70s with the Constitution, offering parts of it unmarked to right-wingers to read, who then condemned it as a "communist" document.

And it doesn't help when Trump himself is calling http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world ... 10781.html]the Constitution an archaic document that's bad for the country, because it doesn't let him do whatever he wants.
