I don't know if Fox has seen this comic series, but with its distinct Japanese air and cheerful nihlism, it strongly reminds me of QB/Nogitsune.

I laughed aloud several times - but I also laugh aloud at Shakespeare comedies and the Venture Brothers, so my judgement may be suspect.
