Seelepanzer doesn't, for the most part, know much more than you'd expect of a sixteen year old high-school girl. The parts that don't fit are due to her mother's lifestyle as an extremely busy homicide detective, which meant that the single mother's usual 'babysitter' was the local cop hangout - Maria essentially grew up as their mascot, and picked up a working knowledge of many aspects of the field, including the equivalent of a police firearms qualification course. Before she suffered The Incident At The Museum, her unconcious kinesthetics also smelled strongly enough of 'cop' to repel drug dealers and minor scum at ten paces. She also has an encyclopediac knowledge of Paragon and New York Cities' leading chinese take-out places.

Susan Schwartzschild was, in civilian life, an ABD particle physicist before all of her notes and research were destroyed in the accident that created her powers. She also likes her food almost thermonuclearly hot; she treats Tabasco sauce like water, keeps Habanero peppers as midnight snacks, and once swallowed three ccs of pure capsaicin on a bet - twice in the same night.
Lori Khan knows a bit about motorcycles, rather more about fighting, and a lot about trouble. She cooks but doesn't clean, and is dreadfully embarassed about both facts. She is also far more familiar than she would like to be with age of consent laws.
Servant Rider doesn't talk much and gets out even less, but is a major bibliophile. She refuses to admit that she's completely tone-deaf, but fortunately doesn't like to sing.
