A look at CoH lore.
A look at CoH lore.

The files here date back to Cryptic Studios and 2004, and are fascinating reading, especially when you realize just how much they'd planned even back then. For example, the CoHBible file includes details on just how Mot ended up in Dark Astoria, what the Thorns were up to, and even the Tsoo. There's a few minor changes made since then, but it's still amazingly accurate.

Reading through this stuff is really quite amazing. I've only gone through a few places, but bits like the Rikti and Mot and the Banished Pantheon are really fascinating (for instance, Mot and the Circle of Thorns' involvement in the sacking of Carthage, or the Rikti pre-history)

I'm gonna be very involved in looking through this stuff.

I find it hilarious that one of the potential plots for Dark Astoria was the BP resurrecting Lovecraft and Poe to be their head priests.

There is a thread over on the official forums where Positron and the others are opening the flood gates and saying: "Ask us ANYTHING Lore related, we will answer them!" ... get your questions in quick. Some of the ones so far are good!
