Doctoring the Tardis
Doctoring the Tardis
#1
So I'm getting on a Doctor Who kick at the moment Smile and a friend pointed me to this song which I found to be quite catchy Smile that lead it to me hearing this while reading Chapter 4 so with those leads crossed I present this as a power song...
DOCTORIN' THE TARDIS - The Timelords

Doctor who-oh, doctor who
Doctor who-oh, the tardis
Doctor who-oh, doctor who
Doctor who doc, doctor who
Doctor who doc, doctor who
(Exterminate)
Doctor who-oh, doctor who
Doctor who-oh, the tardis
Doctor who-oh, doctor who
Doctor who doc, doctor who
Doctor who doc, doctor who
(Take that) You what
(Take that) You what
You what, You what, You what
(Exterminate)
We will take over
We are superior beings
Doctor who-oh, doctor who
Doctor who-oh, the tardis
Doctor who-oh, doctor who
Doctor who doc, doctor who
Doctor who doc, doctor who
(Take that) You what
(Take that) You what
You what, You what, You what
Doctor who-oh, doctor who
Doctor who-oh, the tardis
Doctor who-oh, doctor who
Doctor who doc, doctor who
Doctor who doc, doctor who
Doctor who-oh, doctor who
Doctor who-oh, the tardis
Doctor who-oh, doctor who
Doctor who doc, doctor who
Doctor who doc, doctor who

I think this will probably open a portal for the Doctor to come thru with the unfortunate possible side effect of bringing the Daleks with him Tongue

Much as I love this recording -- I've had a copy in one format or another for 20 years or so -- there's not enough lyrical content to really justify a song effect. Sorry.
For folks who aren't familiar with it, btw, this is a good old-fashioned mash-up, the kind where they had to score the blend between two songs and then go into a studio and record it from scratch, rather than digitally edit the tracks together. It's a virtually perfect combination of Gary Glitter's "Rock and Roll Part II" and the Doctor Who theme, circa Tom Baker.
Oh, it's not "We will take over", but "We obey no one".

I also forgot to mention... on "Dean Gray"'s mash-up album American Edit, they blend this track with Green Day's "Holiday" to create "Doctor Who On Holiday". Definitely worth a listen. (Hell, the whole thing is worth a listen.)

this one is a blending of the various opening sequences entitled 'Dr Who all 10 doctors in three minutes'

Clips of the 3rd Doctor to the music of "Kung Fu Fighting" (ah yes, 'venusian karate')

and this fellow has a series of videos featuring various Companions

here's another good one, all the Doctors and all the Companions, set to Queen's 'Don't stop me now'

and one called '10 Lives' set to Evanescence's 'Bring me to Life'
