YouTube loads slowly on my machine. While I waited, I read the lyrics over a couple of times. (I notice that some of the lyrics in the middle didn't get
sung.) The first thought I had about this was that it's another flight song. Then I saw "Rise above the universe tonight / Starchaser" and it
occurred to me that this is an interstellar flight song, or at least FTL. There's a reference to traveling lightyears, which
would support the interstellar interpretation. Also, some of the lyrics suggested to me that the flight power is not just for Doug, but enables others to fly,
too, as long as they're with him, maintaining formation or something like that. When it actually played, nothing I
heard contradicted those notions -- and the missiles flying at the very end of the video reinforced them. (The quasi-medical
examination images in the early part, though, were just plain weird.)

Up to Bob, and Doug's subconscious. But that's what I got out of it.

Oh, and thanks, Wiredgeek. Whatever the final decision, this is an interesting song and I enjoyed listening to it.
