Never mind the verses, the oft-repeated chorus makes the power obvious

The Rear Guard, by http://www.oldmanluedecke.ca/

"My hands are on fire,
My hands are on fire"

Because sometimes you just need to cast Burning Hands, even if you aren't a first-level magic-user any more.

(The only question now is, would Doug willingly have banjo music in his collection?)

Well, Doug's got "When I Go" by Dave Carter and Tracy Grammar; so why not?

Well, there's always "Yamerarenai" from the Tenchi in Tokyo OST.

This is the one that, after a showing of the series at our anime club, was instantly dubbed "Ninja Death Banjos From Hell".

Uhhhh... yeah.

Never heard that before. Don't think I like it quite as much as everyone else seems to. "J-Pop bluegrass", indeed...

Well, I'll agree with the 'from Hell' part.  -_-'

"My hands are on fire, hands are on fire;

I ain't got no more time for all you charlatans and liars."

Kind of a left-field combination, but I think it should also grant Doug the ability to see through (or at least detect) illusions and deceits.

Incidentally, the phrase "burning hands" actually appears in the last verse.

Or maybe his touch burns away illusions and other false seemings.
