Let's do the timewarp again!
Let's do the timewarp again!
#1
This should be able to to spawn a whole cluster of powers. Madness, void, time travel, stopping time... other suggestions?

Lyrics:
RiffRaff:
It's astounding;
Time is fleeting;
Madness takes its toll.
But listen closely...

Magenta:
Not for very much longer.

RiffRaff:
I've got to keep control.

I remember doing the time-warp
Drinking those moments when
The Blackness would hit me

Magenta:
And the void would be calling...

Transylvanians:
Let's do the time-warp again.
Let's do the time-warp again.

Narrator:
It's just a jump to the left.

All:
And then a step to the right.

Narrator:
Put your hands on your hips.

All:
You bring your knees in tight.
But it's the pelvic thrust
That really drives you insane.
Let's do the time-warp again.
Let's do the time-warp again.

Magenta:
It's so dreamy, oh fantasy free me.
So you can't see me, no, not at all.
In another dimension, with
voyeuristic intention,
Well secluded, I see all.

RiffRaff:
With a bit of a mind flip

Magenta:
You're into the time slip.

RiffRaff:
And nothing can ever be the same.

Magenta:
You're spaced out on sensation.

RiffRaff:
Like you're under sedation.

All:
Let's do the time-warp again.
Let's do the time-warp again.

Columbia:
Well I was walking down the street
just a-having a think
When a snake of a guy gave me an
evil wink.
He shook-a me up, he took me by surprise.
He had a pickup truck, and the
devil's eyes.
He stared at me and I felt a change.
Time meant nothing, never would again.

All:
Let's do the time-warp again.
Let's do the time-warp again.

Narrator:
It's just a jump to the left.

All:
And then a step to the right.

Narrator:
Put your hands on your hips.

All:
You bring your knees in tight.
But it's the pelvic thrust
That really drives you insane.
Let's do the time-warp again.
Let's do the time-warp again.

Rather off the wall suggestion: It just makes Doug a very good dance instructor, and nothing more, although I'm not sure if it's dancing in general, whatever dance and music style the timewarp itself is part of or the timewarp specifically.

There's quite a few 'do this new dance' songs - The Electric Slide, The Monster Mash, Do The Twist, The Rock & Roll Waltz, etc. - to the point that I'd make them a class of power songs all on their own. Maybe it's possible for them to give Doug powers, but if he uses them on someone(s) else via I'll Play For You the target(s) learn that dance/style of dance in the space of the song. Maybe not even needing IPFY, just intent...

It might well be an (un)expected side effect of the main power, or perhaps a flaw in this kind of song is that when the moves are called out you have to perform them.

This can get you killed when people are shooting at you, but that's rather obvious really.

My own warped sense is that everyone in the area of effect would have to perform the moves. Whether it would be a full thriller style mass dance  or something like the scene somewhere in DW2 where both the sabers and the boomers had to stop fighting and look at Doug is another matter.  The former would better fit the source, although the later would probably make the better story.

I gather you've never seen a '70s-era dance movie... The good dancers "gotta dance now," and everyone else watches in awe.
