This is the first time of the several times I've seen an author bring back Haku (assuming he does indeed survive that...) and not make it seem cheap or easy (the cost and difficulty here being obvious).
Also, I believe I haven't said how much I've enjoyed this story to date. I, er, haven't really had much of anything to say commentary-wise besides just that I liked it until now.

Two great tastes that go great together!
