I, too, have only seen the first two episode.
What I saw made me interested enough that I will watch it again if I get a chance, but not interested enough that I am seeking it out.
I am not very helpful here.

The actual mecha action scenes are somewhat lacking, but the character development is more than a series usually has.
The beyond-the-matrix elements alone are enough to make my inner geek cackle, though.
