Spybot S&D took care of business for me, though it took 4 repeats, a couple Safe Mode reboots, and some blind luck..

I was wrong - it came back a half hour or so after I thought I had it cleaned.

I've 200-odd gigs copying off of the drive I've designated for the new Windows installation, it should be done tonight.

I have an nVidia driver install that's less than a month old handy, and sound/network drivers newer than that, so it should be fairly quick.

Once I get this install up, I'm ghosting it, so I have a SUPAH EAZY RESTORE CD.
