Paragon City, Rhode Island. Eighteen months ago. Fifteen-year-old Raye Langley, a young superheroine who goes by the sobriquet "Evangelia," joins an organization of supers called "The Legendary". It is an undistinguished supergroup, more an extended team-up than anything else, and does little to stand out among the many other such groups based in the city. Still, she was asked to join by a member who had seen her in action, and Evangelia is ecstatic at the honor.

Within weeks, she is the only member left.

Forced into the role of commander at an age when she should be glad to be a sidekick, Evangelia doggedly rebuilds the Legendary, turning the once unremarkable organization into a force to be reckoned with. She recruits a wide array of powered heroes from the ranks of the supers who come to Paragon City to make a name for themselves, and forms them into a powerful, cohesive fighting team. She oversees the construction of a base, and begins to forge alliances with other supergroups and coalitions.

Today the Legendary is one of the supergroups to watch. While nowhere near the most powerful or most influential group in Paragon -- yet -- they are making a name for themselves, and making an impact on the City of Heroes.

This is the web page of the Legendary, a supergroup based on the Virtue server of the MMORPG City of Heroes, and its various spin-offs and allied groups. In addition to their online activities, many of the involved players have taken to writing fiction about the supergroup and its members. Since much of the interaction and policymaking for the group takes place in the Legendary forum of my discussion board, this page is intended more as a repository for that fiction and other reasonably static documents. There is also a gallery of past and present members, including our honored fallen.
