Evening folks! ^_^
I have again updated my webpage, this time by adding a page for my finished COH fanfics. (Well, okay, story #4 isn't finished yet, but I'm working on it! ^.^ )
Anyhow, you can find them here:
www.bgcrisis.com/siege/COHFiction.html
I've put up the PDF comic I made for the COH Story contest, two short stories I made about one of my scrappers, and the third story is my newly-retitled Saberkitten story.
I won't spoil the surprise by telling you the title now. Go forth, read, and comment after you've seen it. (^_^)
Regards,
Bert V.V.

| Antigua no longer bound by US copyrights |

The WTO has given Antigua and Barbuda permission to ignore US copyrights in films, television, and music because of the US' refusal to allow Antiguan internet gambling websites to accept US clients.
Details here.
It's about time - when a country signs a treaty, that country should abide by it. The US didn't. This was the only sanction that Antigua could get against them.
So, how long before Antiguan copies of Hollywood blockbusters start showing up on eBay?

Youtube vid of a completely virtual idol singer.
Clicky
I am amazed at the quality of the Japanese voices for this technology versus the English ones.
Somewhere you can also find this same "performer" doing Fly Me to The Moon at LEAST as well as Megumi Hayashibara did it.
And... Someone has already created a "Rickroll" video with the synth voice.

| Looking for unofficial anime RPG resources |

I've got a page of anime-related RPG resources on my website, and was wondering whether anybody here knew of any additions that should be made to it. I figure if anybody knows, then so do the folks here.
It doesn't have to be GURPS stuff - any system is fine, as long as it's related to an anime or manga. Even a writeup of a single character qualifies...-Rob Kelk

"Marshall Dillon! Marshall Dillon!"
"What is it Festus?" Dillon asked.
"There was a shootin' star landed in old man Petrie's north 40! He want's someone official ta see what he's found in it!"
"Right, I'll be along shortly."
--Later--
Marshall Dillon looked into the crater amid the rows of corn and gaped at the blonde man in the singed red duster curled up in a ball.
"Is he... SLEEPING?"
Old man Petrie piped in, "Well that's the thing, I saw the fireball come in, and there he was, holdin' on to this little lady here." With that, he gestured to the somewhat scandalously attired woman beside him. Oh, she had a long enough white overcoat, but her skirt gave teasing glimpses of her knees over the tops of her boots. The slight tilt to her eyes betrayed a mixed heritage.
Dillon tipped his hat. "Pleased to meet you, Miss. I'm Marshall Matt Dillon, and I'm the law around here."
The young woman bent at the waist. "I'm Meryl Stryfe, of the Bernadelli Insurance Agency." She handed over a calling card. "And that," she said, pointing to the snoozing man, "is Vash the Stampede."

my family gave to me
one (1) stepladder (where the hell I'm gonna put that I have no idea, much less what use I have for one);
The Right Hand of Doom and Other Tales of SOlomon Kane
Airwolf (the DVDs, not the version tha require's a pilot's license)
Mobile Suit Gundam novelisations & BOLOS: Honor of the Regiment
Napolean (neither the Emperor nor the cannon, but a bigoraphy of the former) & an illustrated history of the Napoleanic Wars
Attack of the Clones and Return of the Jedi (which finishes my collection of the Star Wars movies)
and a hot water bottle (which is damn useful since I got back from my family to find the boiler not lighting and am therefore living in an icecube - engineer should be here tomorrow and could have been here if I didn't have to go to work... for the same company sending the engineer)
Ranting aside, I had a great christmas with lots of food, seeing relatives I haven't seen in a while and an assortment of board games.
How'd everyone else do?
