Surfing the web, looking for good anime music videos, finding a few...
First, the (relatively) straightforward one: She's Just Oblivious. And the "she" in question is Haruhi.
Next, an example of selective editing to tell a somewhat different story than the original: Code Monkey. I'm pretty sure Legend of Black Heaven didn't actually go this way...
Finally, an example of selective editing to tell a very different story than the original: Something Wicked This Way Comes. We've all seen the original movie, I'm sure, so I won't spoil the twist for you here.

"Remember"
by Josh Groban from the movie Troy
Remember, I will still be here
As long as you hold me, in your memory
Remember, when your dreams have ended
Time can be transcended
Just remember me
I am the one star that keeps burning, so brightly,
It is the last light, to fade into the rising sun
I'm with you
Whenever you tell, my story
Remember, I will still be here
As long as you hold me, in your memory
Remember me
I am the one voice in the cold wind, that whispers
And if you listen, you'll hear me call across the sky
As long as I still can reach out, and touch you
Then I will never die
Remember, I'll never leave you
If you will only
Remember me
Remember me...
Remember, I will still be here
As long as you hold me
In your memory
Remember, when your dreams have ended
Time can be transcended
I live forever
Remember me
Remember me
Remember... me...
What I'm not sure is whether the song keeps Doug from not forgetting or resurrects lost memories.

Last night I thought of what might be a subset of the Pulpers. Specificly, fans of action novel series' like The Destroyer or The Executioner.__________________

Today's User Friendly Link of the Dat is the High-Yield Detonation Effects Simulator - in this link, showing a megaton blast centered on my home town.
Hours of fun for the repressed explosives-type pyromaniac... and a useful resource for the gamemaster of any post-holocaust RPG. The satellite image option is handy for player handouts, while the map and hybrid options are useful for the GM.
Edit: Helps if I get the link right...
