They showed Minority Report on tv tonight. It struck me as mostly an action movie, though one with some interesting concepts too.
One scene I really enjoyed though, was when ...Anderton? (I think that was his name) and the precog were going through a mall. Turn here, wait there, get this, everything lining up exactly right for them to escape.
It occurred to me later that the movie Paycheck is like this scene expanded into an entire movie.
Well, I liked both, so I'm not complaining. ^_^

Power: Gives Doug the ability to create unlimited amounts of shaving cream, or convert darn near anything within his AOE into shaving cream (his choice of color, flavor, scent, gel-vs-foam, etc). Also allows Doug to perform painless yet perfect depillation upon anyone or anything within AOE (although if he's not careful, he might remove a bit too much...). Hence the regular solicitations from various Hollywood personages who think Doug could make a *mint* performing Painless Ultimate Bikini Waxes and Full-Body Metrosexual Makeovers (and they could make a mint off their cut of the gross) which keep the paper shredder in the Warriors' London office well-exercised.
