Now there are a lot of valid readings for this one, but the impression it always gives me is of resignation to/acceptance of mundanity. So, my suggestion:
It inverts Doug's chaos field, and for the duration transforms him into that most feared of all opponents -- a Level Three Mundane. Only his own song-power is exempt from this (so it will end).
To support this effect, Doug is subject to a massive delusion -- he's convinced that he never had superpowers. Either he thinks he's just woken up from a long spell of insanity, or his memory reconfigures itself so that he doesn't know he ever was a Warrior... pick one, or randomly choose every time the power activates. Whichever, he's also disinclined to turn off the music and will rationalize leaving it and his helmet on as long as possible.
As usual for the condition, he'll also be quite convinced that there's no such thing as superpowers, aliens, technology beyond 1990's Earth, et cetera... but whether or not he retains his memory, this won't bother him much. He's okay with the ordinary world, and he'll learn to survive...

I've never bothered with respeccing any of my characters, but I've just realized that I have a power or two in Eva's assortment that I don't ever use, and I should probably respec to get rid of them. And I've had one free respec for months now that I've never used.
The question is, how do I trigger a respec, and how does it work?

I've got a 3 1/2 to sublet in Montreal. In Dollard-Des-Ormeaux in the West Island. It's on the third floor of a slightly older building. It's also at the back, so there's no road noise and the balcony overlooks the building's pool. The floors are wood, except for tile in the kitchen and bathroom.
There's a small mall across the street with a good grocery store, and it is directly on a bus route which leads downtown, and to the Metro (subway). It's also got indoor parking and easy access to the highway if you have your own car.
Rent is $531 CDN a month and includes heat and hot water. The apartment will be available starting January first. The current lease runs to the end of may, and there is an option to renew.

I meant to post something this morning, but got kind of distracted. I'm sure folks have noticed that the byte count for the chapter hasn't moved in ten days or so. I just wanted to let people know that this does not mean that the chapter is stalled. What happened is that a scene got cut out and moved to chapter 4, and I am unwilling to make the byte count on the board subhead go down. The file in the mean time has been growing back up to 150K. So there is progress, it just hasn't been visible to you folks.
