The comic strip Jump Start once had a Sunday strip (24 April '94) in which main character Marcy discovered that her husband Joe disagreed with her about the proper way to say a certain well-known expression:  she was sure it was "Kitten caboodle," while he insisted it was "Kit and caboodle." She inquired among their friends and relatives and was astonished to realize that "Everybody is using the wrong expression except for me!"
