That the win is a clean one.
The problem is that people seem to have stopped believing in unbiased and trustworthy information sources. And that Trump has repeated said that as he'd clearly win a fair election, then him not winning is evidence of fraud.
He is in the process of sueing to stop the counting of mail in votes in Pennsylvania and he's repeatly claimed that they are vulnerable to fraud. The democrats see this as a transparent attempt to supress their votes and is essentially fraudulent.
In other words (unless both the count goes ahead AND Trump has a significantly larger than expected share of the mail in and urban votes), one side will be accusing the other of being dirty cheaters.
Deciding whether the result is a clean one or not is going to be partisan and depend on what sources of new one listens to. I'm not saying that a clear win won't happen, but that chosing to believe that the win is clear will be biased.
I regret to say I believe you are right.
That said, when the dust settles for good, I plan to do as Patrick Henry said when the Constitution (which he believed insufficient to guarantee liberty) was ratified, regardless of the result:
"It is adopted, let us try it."
