I know which thread I'm in, thanks. Now as I was saying, a Naruto/Muppets crossover set just after the Second Ninja war and starring a Sand puppeteer--
Oh come on, it's someone's lame OC, not even the canon characters? You're not making a good case for this being the right thread.
The OC is fine, or at least flawed in interesting ways if not exactly what you'd call mentally fine. Geez, just let me write the recommendation!
Besides, there's plenty of canon Naruto characters from the older generations in the supporting cast, and all the Muppets are their normal selves, just with the occasional ninja flavor added to fit the setting. It's hilarious, while still preserving the more serious tone of the Naruto side when the plot heads out on a mission or whatever. Seventy thousand words in fifty five story posts, not including the author's notes which get posted separately after the chapters. It did kind of peter out back in April, unfortunately, but that's not so long that a revival would be impossible, or even uncommon.
