Why does "the price of pickles in Pakistan" sound and feel more pleasing to say than "the price of tea in China?" It's got to be somrthing to do with the rhythm and alliteration, but they don't feel like strong enough reasons.
Using "Poughkeepsie" isn't quite as good either, despite also being three syllables starting with a P.
