No worries... my depression after reading dead fics is a much more recent development than the start of the pause in Careful Destiny. It's more the result of the last ten years, what with the death of the FFML and my unwisely deciding to reread the contents of my Kindle from end-to-end and rediscovering just how much I liked which never concluded.
