- is anyone else struck by the eerie mirror of the Gamilas Destroyer
captain turning to fight Yamato? to assure that his commanding officer
escapes - and that of Alex Wildstar/Kodai Mamoru's EXACT SAME type of sacrifice to see
to Captain Avatar/Okita's safe return to Earth in the first episode?
It's these kind of touches that are really showing how deep the new series is, IMO.

That was something I've yet to determine my self for I'm going of the information provided by the retailer I've been buying the discs from.

Also that duty uniform for the nurse there must be a trope in that for it's a legless version of the standard female duty uniform with a short almost skirt or is it an overjacket?

... good question. might actually be both, where for whatever reason (I suspect crew morale) the skirt is so short and the jacket long so that they both basicly end about the same spot.

Then again, in the "DONT LOOK" scene it does seem to gap in a way that imples more of a jacket thats meant to act like a mini dress.
