And sigh.

Very much a niche miniatures game, but very nice minis and great casting quality.

Cancelled.
Sucrose Octanitrate.

Proof positive that with sufficient motivation, you can make anything explode.

Only 18 hrs to go on this one (I just discovered it myself), somewhere over 30x their original goal

Eight more days in the "Critical Role: The Legend of Vox Machina" animated series Kickstarter. They're currently at $9.3 million, and people are still pledging every few seconds.

a minor note, the last update on the status of the Gunsmith Cats DVD mentioned that their next kickstarter will be Megazone 23

Norgarth I'm not familiar with that work, do you know a summary?

Not really. I've never actually watched myself, but I know it's an anime that features a large motorcycle(trike?) that transforms into battlearmor that somehow ends up in the hands of the protagonist.  It's where Megazone (of EPU/Undocumented Features fame) got his name from.

I've heard that it was dubbed over by Harmony Gold as a 'timeline filler' for Robotech, stuck shortly before the Robotech Masters invaded and with the mecha-bike as a Cyclone prototype. But if so it wasn't widely distributed.

They haven't begun that kickstarter yet (they haven't finished sending out Gunsmith Cats yet), just mentioned that it's in the pipe.

Megazone 23 has a page on All The Tropes - that will give you an idea what the show's about.

(blows dust off microphone)

Following on from the successful campaign to relaunch the Trinity Continuum (and its New Space Opera setting Æon), Richard Thomas dba Onyx Path Publishing is running a Kickstarter for the middle game (in both release and chronological order) of the series, the postmodernist near-future superhero story of Aberrant. Less than nine hours after launch, it's 91% of the way to its US$40,000 goal, proving that Jedi Knights do in fact wait 16 years for a sequel a 20-year wait for a reboot is no time at all to a nova.

Catalyst's Battletech tabletop game has a Clan Invasion kickstarter on now.

It funded in 7 minutes and is already more than 15 times the original goal on the first day.

And I'm in on this one at the $95 star captain mark.
Just had to pull out the laptop that had my Kickstarter info on it

Robert Woodhead, of AnimEigo fame, is following up his successful Bubblegum Crisis, Otaku no Video, Riding Bean and Gunsmith Cats kickstarters with the "Omega Edition" of the legendary Megazone 23:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mad...ga-edition

Just minutes in and already 46% funded (the last of those percentage points was achieved while I was typing, and I wouldn't be surprised if it hit 47% before I click Post Reply). Clearly, there was a Great Need.

Being in Canada I am reluctant to lay down cash before the rights reach out of the US. In fact, I may find myself back here begging for someone willing to play relay station in exchange for a modest wad of cash.

I'm Canadian and I haven't had any trouble receiving his previous anime kickstarters.

This one's US only. The others weren't.

I love the smell of rotaries in the morning. You know one time, I got to work early, before the rush hour. I walked through the empty carpark, I didn't see one bloody Prius or Golf. And that smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole carpark, smelled like.... ....speed.

One day they're going to ban them.

hmm, good to know before I get in on it then.

EDIT: well, they've hit their initial goal

Over 600% funded in what must be the first day of a two-week campaign for this ashcan edition. If you like this sort of thing, this is the sort of thing you'll like.

Halfway through the pledge period and the first stretch goal has been reached. Still no word as to whether they'll be allowed to ship outside of the USA.

(And this is the only AnimEigo Bluray Kickstarter where I didn't previously have the anime on some other medium. <sigh>)
