Yeah, that was a stupid omission on the part of the meme creator.

The film in question is The Big Red One. The restored version is called The Big Red One: The Reconstruction, and it appears the reason that most people have still never seen it is that after its release at Cannes in 2004, it doesn't look like it was actually distributed to theatres. It was more of a labor of love by a small team of professionals led by a film critic, who wanted to posthumously honor Samuel Fuller, the filmmaker who based it on his experiences in World War I.

The original purpose of the meme was to get people to click through to whatever ranker site it was advertising on Facebook. So, yeah, that one really shouldn't have been shared.

It's clickbait, divorced from the hook.

I love the smell of rotaries in the morning. You know one time, I got to work early, before the rush hour. I walked through the empty carpark, I didn't see one bloody Prius or Golf. And that smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole carpark, smelled like.... ....speed.

One day they're going to ban them.
